Lego: the movie

We went to see “Lego: the movie” today, and against all odds, it was one of the best animation movies I’ve seen in a while. Oh, and it seemed kids loved it too, but really, it’s made for their parents.

Beyond the quality of the animation, it’s full of references that will make you laugh if you are older than 30 (and a tad on the geek side for sure). It’s probably also full of memes that the younger ones will get, but hey, how would I know, right? 😉
I don’t want to spoil it with one of the trailers, they site too much as usual, so here are a couple of other videos.

  1. Spaceship!!! Haha! Loved it too, though I was slightly disappointed with the ending: [redacted to avoid spoilers], though I suppose for a children’s movie they needed some sort of moral-type ending.
