👋 Hello Morftenighter!

Greetings from Vienna, where I started getting used to living in 2022!

I have a question for you, what do you make of Twitter?

I had an account, I think I opened it in 2008, and for many years I'd either ignore it or use it to consume content; I barely ever tweeted. I ended up deleting it a few years ago, at the same time as my Facebook one, as it seemed to just stir anger and controversy.

I have been involved in recent months in a few communities where people consider Twitter very valuable. However, as I reopened an account, I realized that maybe I had been using it wrong, mostly following the wrong people.

I am not sold yet, but more optimistic than in the past that if you curate the list of people you follow, you can actually learn something and meet interesting people.

I'd love to know what you think, if and how you use it.

I am @p3ob7o over there, by the way. If you are interested in what you see, don't hesitate to follow me, so I can do the same and discover what you share.

I enjoy working on this series. It helps me gradually get more comfortable taking photos of people at a close range. At the same time, people focused on their phones are truly a defining characteristic of our times.

I mentioned last week I started publishing daily atomic essays as part of 🚢 Ship 30 for 30, here are the ones I published since then:

Many of us spend quite some time in Zoom for numerous reasons, if that's your case, you may want to read this article explaining the impact of network lag on our brain: Got Zoom fatigue? Out-of-sync brainwaves could be to blame.
The Four Types of Relationships and the Reputational Cue Ball. A concise read, making an essential point about the importance of focusing on the long term.

That's it for today! You can find more of my stuff on, and if you think that someone you know could enjoy Morfternight, the newsletter to share, please forward it to them or send them this link to subscribe.
