The Fibonacci Lead

I was having a conversation about the role of team and division lead within Automattic, trying to explain why it is crucial that anyone aspiring to leadership starts by being extremely efficient in their current position.
It reminded me of the Fibonacci sequence, where each number is the sum of the previous two numbers in the sequence.
I decided to refer to what I was describing as “Fibonacci Leadership“, where one, at each point in time, is the sum of their past roles, never forgets, and never misses a chance to help their team.
