In May, I’m going all-in

This month of May will be a bit special for me, as I’ll unusually be on the road 25 of its 31 days for work.

I decided to make it a bit more special by going “full mobile” for a month.

What does it mean, why choose May, and, well, just why?

What does it mean? It means having only my Nexus 5 and my iPad mini for the whole month, no laptop.

Why choose May? Well, I know in advance it’s going to be painful, probably even extremely painful, so I figured I could at least get the most out of it, by travelling light. Also, the pain will be reduced a bit by being around coworkers almost every day, and I won’t have to resist the temptation of using the laptop, as it’ll be far away from me.

Why doing it at all? Mobile internet is there, and it’s there to stay, working for an internet company, I want to see how it feels to use our products and all the other tools I use daily  exclusively on mobile for a month.

I’ll raise myself a daily post challenge too. I was very happy to participate to a daily post challenge in April, which, if not completely successful (I didn’t post every day, I admit) was still a huge improvement, 23 posts in April, vs 10 for Jan/Feb/Mar together, or a 700% increase.

So, May 2014, mobile only, a daily post challenge, wish me luck 🙂
